The company has a state-of -the-art IT system which enables us to accurately forecast our stock requirements and stock management. The company has its own distribution set up covering Malta and Gozo with a fleet of delivery vans offering a daily delivery service.
Charles de Giorgio is now operating from a new distribution centre consisting of 4000 square metres of floor space. It has separate warehousing for pharmaceuticals, beauty products, medical devices and household products, and totally compliant to EU Good Distribution Practice, and temperature controlled at all times.
The sales force are the heart of the company! They are what makes the company beat and grow. Staff development is given utmost importance which in turn keeps motivation high, bringing in higher sales and continued growth. The company has its team of pharmacists as medical representatives calling on all doctors on a daily basis. We pride ourselves in empowering every person at all levels within our organization and to effectively perform as a team.
The Company also has an in-house relabelling facility for pharmaceuticals, which is licensed by the Malta Medicines Authority. The Facility provides for, Overprinting, OverLabelling and Package Insert replacement
The Servicing Department is dedicated to maintain the smooth running of installed equipment. Our Customer Service Engineers are trained overseas, and keep abreast with the latest technological advances. We have successfully completed turnkey projects including the Radiology Dept at St Philip’s Hospital, the Catheterisation Lab at St James Hospital, the CT at Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre, the PETCT at St James Hospital and the CT & MRI at Da Vinci Hospital.”
The company also has a dedicated Regulatory and Pharmacovigilance Unit. This unit is responsible for Good Distribution Practice (GDP) according to EU regulations. It also oversees all regulatory affairs for products handled by the company.
The Company has an HR Department to handle daily staff / work issues, co-ordinate man power, manage employee life cycle, maintain employee relations, labour law compliance, organizing team building activities, fleet management, handle health and all company insurance policies.
